Tee Reservations

The offical starting points on the course are:

  1. The first hole
  2. The eleventh hole (only if the tenth fairway is clear)

Precedence on the first tee

Precedence on the first tee is as follows:

  1. The Club Captain has priority at all times.
  2. All members of a four, three or two ball must be present on the first tee before their match has any standing.
  3. Weekdays - two ball matches have preference over three and four ball matches. All matches have equal standing at weekends.
  4. Competitors in Club Competitions have priority over all other matches.
  5. Players already on the first tee take precedence over those coming to the first tee from the eighteenth green, except when a Club competition match goes to "sudden death".

Lady Members

Ladies are not permitted to play from the first tee between 1.00pm and 2.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays (British Summer Time) and between 12.30pm and 2.00pm (Rest of the year). During these hours they may commence play (but not exclusively) from the eleventh tee.

Junior Members

Junior members have equal standing on first tee on all weekdays 10.00am till 11.00am and 2.00pm till 3.00 pm but are not permitted to play from the first tee at the following times:

  1. Weekdays: Between 5.00pm and 6.30pm
  2. Weekends: Before 10.00am
  3. British Summer Time: Between 1.00pm and 3.00pm
  4. Rest of the year: Between 12.30pm and 2.30pm

Junior members must give way to Senior members on the first tee at all other times.
