Tee Restrictions

The offical starting points on the course are:

  1. The first hole
  2. The eleventh hole (only if the tenth fairway is clear)

Precedence on the first tee

Precedence on the first tee is as follows:

  1. The Club Captain has priority at all times
  2. All members of a four, three or two ball must be present on the first tee before their match has any standing
  3. Weekdays - two ball matches have preference over three and four ball matches
  4. All matches have equal standing at weekends
  5. Competitors in Club Competitions have priority over all other matches
  6. Players already on the first tee take precedence over those coming to the first tee from the eighteenth green, except when a Club competition match goes to "sudden death"

Junior Members

Junior Members are not permitted to play from the first tee (Even if playing with a Senior Member) at the following times:

  1. Weekends: Before 10.00am

Junior Members must give way to Senior Members on the first tee, but please note the following:

A Junior Member, playing with a Senior Member, will have equal standing on the first tee providing that the Juniors do not comprise more than 50% of the players in that match (but play from the first tee is still prohibited at the above times)

Junior Members will have equal standing on the first tee between 10:00am and 11:00am and between 2:00pm and 3:00pm on all WEEKDAYS
