Local Rules

1. OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 27-1)
  1. Beyond any of the fences or walls forming the course boundaries. NOTE: The walls adjoining Lizard Lane are deemed to be boundary walls.
  2. The south side of either the wall or the extended line of white posts forming the south boundary of the 12th hole. The line of white posts are deemed immovable obstructions during the play of the 5th hole.
  3. Beyond the line of white posts to the left side of the 15th hole.
  4. Beyond the line of white posts to both sides of the 18th hole.
2. OBSTRUCTIONS(Rule 24-1)
  1. Stones in bunkers are moveable obstructions and Rule 24-1 applies.
  2. Fixed sprinkler heads. See Rules of Golf Appendix 1, Part B, Specimen Local Rule 5.
3. INTEGRAL PARTS OF THE COURSE(Rule 24 Definition C)

All building and walls within the boundaries of the course are declared to be integral parts of the course. The ball must be played as it lies or declared unplayable under Rule 28.

4. WATER HAZARDS(Rule 26)

When playing the 12th hole the pond in front of the green is an Ordinary Water Hazard and Rule 26-1a and 1b applies. When playing the 13th hole the pond is a Lateral Water Hazard and Rule 26-1a, 1b and 1c applies.

5. GROUND UNDER REPAIR(Rule 24)
  1. Any outcrop of limestone rock visible in closely mown areas.
  2. All areas marked with white lines and tractor markes through the green.
  3. All fissures through the green on holes 8,9 and 10 only. Relief without penalty is available under Rule 25-1b.
6. NEWLY PLANTED TREES

If newly planted trees in defined areas, marked with green and white posts, interfere with stance or area of swing, the ball must be lifted and dropped in accordance with Rule 24-2(b).. (Immovable Obstructions)

7. PRACTICE(Rule 33-2c)

Practice is permitted on the day of a stroke play competition or between rounds on the designated practice areas to the right side of the 4th hole and between the 11th and 12th holes, as well as the practice putting green. During normal play this green is a "wrong green" and Rule 25-3 applies.
