9th Hole

Although only 505 yards the ninth is normally a genuine three-shotter as it is normally played into a headwind. However, downwind, it can be a good birdie chance.

There's not much trouble from the tee apart from the bunker and small copses on the right of the fairway.

The second shot is blind as it is played from the bottom of a swale. Get it over the top of the hill and miss the trees on the left of the fairway and you will be faced with a relatively short approach to the green.

The green has a narrow approach and is well guarded by two front bunkers and a rear bunker on the right. It also has a ridge which you have to contend with if the pin is positioned at the back.
