5th Hole
Played off the back tees, the fifth can be a testing par four, especially with three bunkers in a line across the fairway. But at 343 yards, a good strike over the left hand bunker will be safe but gives a tougher line into the green (as the hole is a slight dogleg left).
The best line is a lay-up just short of the right hand bunker and that will open up a long, narrow green which is guarded by a stone wall on the right and bunkers on the left.
Try to keep your approach shot below the hole as the green slopes severely towards the sea. In fact, balls putted from above the hole have been known to end up off the green!!
